Energy Healing

Shamanism dates back to more than 30, 000 years and is one of the most ancient practices of spirituality ever known to mankind. The word “shaman” has emerged from the vocabulary of Siberian Tungus Tribe and it stands for ‘spiritual healer’ or someone who can see even when it is dark around.

History tells of the practice of Shamanism in continents like Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, South America, Greenland, Europe, and Siberia. The practice of Shamanism differs from continent to continent based on cultural differences and once those cultural differences are erased, a core system of Shamanism practice develops. It is called Core-Shamanism. The phrase ‘Core Shamanism’ has been coined by the founder of ‘The Foundation of Shamanic Studies’, Michael Harner.

A shaman is a person who is divinely blessed to see ‘with the strong eye’ and ‘with the heart’. After delving deep into your life issues the Shaman ‘travels’ into the unchartered hidden spaces of your life and psyche. During this journey, the ‘God man/woman’ converses with benevolent spirits thereby finding out spirituality-based solutions the illnesses you are suffering from or the woes that have befallen you in life.

The Shaman also asks the good spirits answers to the questions tormenting a community, a client or a patient. The Shaman follows a path of life that features wholeness, harmony, balance and impeccability. Thus, in most cases shamans are priests/priestesses, doctors, healers, narrators, psychotherapists, mystics.
