The above are some simple steps where one can help themselves to avoid having panic attacks. You may not have immediate results, over a period of time when you start feeling a little more in control and the attacks slowing down.
One of the main reasons for the panic attacks is suppressed emotions especially certain emotions that were triggered due to some trauma, awkward situations, rejection, loss, or death. Suppressed emotions being the biggest trigger one should and must address these issues and emotions and get them healed periodically.
Often we push ourselves into denial or ignore the warnings that come to mind all the signals being given by a physical body just cause we’re not prepared to deal with the suppressed emotions. To heal from the panic attack periodic healing, counseling would very much be needed.
We can never say we have everything in control because as long as internally we can control but externally we are unable to control situations and the outcome of situations.
This can actually leave a person feeling highly frustrated, helpless and this could bring him out a major issue within us when not addressed could become a suppressed emotion of anger, fear. When we understand and acknowledge the fact that everything is not in our control and also being mindful that we need to let go would help us a lot.
For a person who’s actually going through a panic attack these kinds of reasonings would hold no good as for them, it’s like the world is crashing around them. As family and loved ones, we should be watchful and mindful and assist them through this process. Especially if they have slipped into a depression due to the attacks they would very much need handholding and support not only from a counselor or a healer but also from the family members.
Allow yourself to nurture and heal yourself often, the time and money spent on self is nothing but self-investment.
Suppressed Emotions can become a trigger for many issues it is always good to address them and release them.
