Carry the right Attitude but never the Arrogance
There is a thin line defining the two, it’s easy to get carried away with power, success and it can become too much that though you may not realize it one can easily slip into having arrogance and being totally oblivious to the fact of the kind of arrogance one can carry.
What one needs to ask oneself is, can all this be permanent?
Can I take all this with me when the time comes to depart from this world?
There can be more such questions one needs to ask oneself. The answer is obviously NO. The simple law being..
“What we sow is what we reap”.
So when power, success and money hits your ego or mind, the arrogance flares up taking you in a spiral of nothing can stop your success or growth. It can also take you to the level of feeling “I am indispensable”. Well, let’s slow down and have a reality check. Each and everyone of us are replaceable with time.
The important factor is to walk with the right attitude and make others feel comfortable and relaxed with you being around. Being people friendly and also have a door open for communication. That’s how you would gain popularity and respect. Arrogance may get you respect, it also will bring in peoples hatred and disgust to you.
Being humble and grounded is the best way to move ahead and it would also make you understand the importance of having the right attitude in life.
How can one inculcate the right attitude to life?
- Be mindful of your environment and also try to be sensitive to everyone around you.
- Introspect on your weakness and strengths it’s important to work on both and build on your strengths.
- Take time out in the day to do things you with love to do or enjoy doing.
- Exercise is an important step towards having a right attitude towards your self and others.
- Eat right and also nurture your body. This would be able to make you have the clarity to understand yourself better without having a cluttered mind.
- Declutter your mind space. Remove things that don’t serve you well. Let go of memories that hurt you.
- Take time out to be alone and spend that time in nurturing and healing oneself .
- It’s important to have a good nights sleep, and not carry stress with you. It would help you stay grounded and be reciprocative.
- Don’t let others influence in a negative way, or avoid picking role models who you feel are very arrogant or not approachable.
- Change your definition of happiness and try to see how and in which way you can be happy.
Holding onto arrogance would only make us fall flat on our face one day.
Right attitude should be the first attire you wear for the day as it’s essential in representing who you are.
Right attitude helps you move ahead with all the kind of challenges you face in your life.
The choice of picking the kind of attitude you must have is really important and needed as you move on in life.
