Evil Eye..? Myth..?
Well this is a debatable topic. I have sat in many conversations were at times everyone are on the same page and at times we have others on another page. I truly respect the fact that for those who don’t believe in it. So it is..
Not that it changes the perception or belief of others. My theory is simple to each their own. When you don’t think of something it simply doesn’t exist in your space. The same goes on the talks about Spirits / Ghosts. You believe or you don’t believe.
For those who believe have experienced and seen or heard things. For those who don’t believe on this would have a rational and logical answer to what they may hear or see. Nevertheless whatever your belief system is there are somethings out there that cannot be explained or understood by many of us.
Let’s just stick to the fact of energy, and talk about energy.
What’s Energy? ( Now I am not a science student so obviously I won’t be going into giving a class)
One explanation is the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity. Another explanation is power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources, especially to provide light and heat or to work machines. Whereas “A spiritual energy flows through the universe, a superaliveness—an active yes. Yet even though our greatest happiness comes from feeling this eternal connection, there’s a tendency in all of us to close off from it.
The most important part of the human body is the latent divine energy which lies between our skins to inner conscience, the potential energy or Shakti. Energies radiate outwards from the personality as if from a great source of light; luminous rays shine out and pervade the atmosphere. This irradiation occurs spontaneously – I would almost say inevitably – and this explains the effect the mere presence of a person who has had transpersonal experiences has on those with whom he or she comes into contact.
In other words energy can be explained as in terms of your own individual mindsets and states of being. In day to day scenarios, you might talk about a person being “high energy” or “low energy” to describe how active they are, or how passionate they might be about a project, but in simple words this could mean slightly different. That’s about picking up different kind of energies and which could tie us down or make us feel low. What we call as Nazar or dhristi. Often, high and low energy refers to a person’s mood, or even to their level of being affected by some dense energy. Thus, you’ll hear people describe how you can raise your energy, by which they mean improve your mood in order to align with your desires and manifest the life you want.
Let’s look at some popular beliefs
Through the ages, people have always feared the evil eye. When children or someone in the family fall ill suddenly, when things start to go wrong, or maybe sudden roadblocks occur people usually say it’s drishti, nazar or evil eye has been cast. Locally many call it nazar, drishti or popularly known as evil eye too. The simple and best way to understand and accept evil eye is the concept of understanding aura. Aura is something like a subtle body surrounding our physical body.
Aura is like an energy shield emerging from our physical body and mental body. A beautiful and healthy object has a positive and happy aura which would make one feel instantaneously happy or attracted to the same. Whereas an unhealthy or something broken may carry a negative and dense aura which would make us feel repulsive or uncomfortable looking at it.
So when we are close to such negative aura since they need some positive energy they sap the energy of us. At the same time when someone casts a nazar or an evil eye the energy from our aura is depleted and one can easily feel drained, disempowered
What is an aura?
“Aura” is the reference to the unseen spiritual energy field that surrounds all living things. Spirituality followers believe that all things alive have an aura. Auras are the invisible energy fields that surround all living things. Ones ability to read auras gives him/her the idea of the type of personality one encounters.
Different colour of auras around a human being is thought to provide insight into one’s emotional and spiritual well-being. It is the energy they exude. You may not spot the colours right away, that comes with learning, practice, and experience. But you can certainly sense it.
An example of how an aura can be felt is easy in everyday life. Just think of how you feel when you meet certain people… some of them exude a warm and gentle wavelength or vibe. Others may exude exactly the opposite vibes. That’s the aura at work. AUra experts consider aura to be a layered phenomenon that we wear… and our physical body is the layer with three layers above and three under it.
Auras can become weak or stressed: Auras change over time. When you notice that you are falling sick too often, feeling irritated or wound up like a spring under tension… if your sleep is disturbed and you feel exhausted all the while, these are signs that your aura could do with some cleansing and re-energising. If you feel that your aura needs a cleansing session.
There can be many reasons for aura to break, become weak or have a tear. To name a few:-
- Not having a full night of sleep or erratic sleep patterns
- Stress
- Emotional breakdown
- Excess of alcohol
- Medications
- Drug overdose
- Hormonal changes
- Unhealthy life style
These are some of simple reasons for aura to become weak. When there is space of aura getting weak, depleted it has a tear like what I stated in my previous blog. It’s the easiest way to allow dense energy make way into your space.
