Evil Eye? Really is this something that exists or is it superstitious…
Hmmmmm!!!! A conversation that I have had many times and yet many questions unanswered.
So let’s look at the various perspectives about an Evil Eye!
One way to look at it, is
The evil eye is a curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are unaware. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause misfortune or injury; the belief is that the malevolent glare can cause health problems, bad luck, or even death.
There is an old saying that an evil eye can also burn a tree or destroy something that’s been successful. The idea expressed by the term causes many different cultures to pursue protective measures against it, with around 40% of the world’s population believing in the evil eye. The concept and its significance vary widely among different cultures.
Among those who do not take the evil eye literally, either by reason of the culture in which they were raised or because they simply do not believe it, the phrase, “to give someone the evil eye” usually means simply to glare at the person in anger or disgust. So in other words in the process of glaring one can actually project the intent of anger, disgust at times jealousy or hatred.
Many wonderful cultures, myths and traditions exist in the world. One of the most popular ones surrounds the legends of the evil eye. It’s all about looking at it and reading about it to simply understand that there is some kind of energy that exists which could bring chaos into one’s space.
It is highly likely that each and everyone of us have encountered the evil eye at some point in our life – whether it be in paintings, stories, jewellery or cultures. But what is the meaning behind the evil eye? This article is to explore the meaning behind the evil eye, including an insight into how it is used in the modern-day.
Firstly let’s understand the simple factor that each and everyone of us and all living things have an aura. Oh on that note I strongly believe that even non living things have an aura. So when one’s aura is slightly tangled or depleted it causes a tear. Now at a time like that, if there is someone who is thinking about you, talking about you. Wishing something negative. It’s nothing but natural to get the impact of it one way or the other.
The thoughts are nothing but energy, this energy get transmitted through energy chords, and through that the intent can get deposited into one’s space unknowingly. This can create chaos from suddenly falling ill, having a huge argument, misunderstanding, or suddenly have loss in business. As the good old saying goes “Your right hand should not know what your left hand is doing
Keeping things discreet is always good and staying out of unwanted attentions is equally important. To give a simple example, Imagine you wake up feeling super charged and happy. You get ready and head out to a market space. Always remember energy feeds on energy. There maybe many people out there unhappy or with depleted auras. Now you are going with a strong full charged aura. It’s easy for others to latch on as energy vampires.
Sucking on the energy and moving on, mind you many maybe completely unaware that they are doing something like this. You come back feeling exhausted, cranky, you just want to sleep. This is a clear sign of
- Energy vampires
- Evil eye
Incase you have experienced something like this with yourself or family members. At times young children can get really cranky. Reason being they are very sensitive to energy and when they feel their energy field being messed up, not knowing how the react or express they get cranky and irritable.
So is it a myth? or what is it?
Well I definitely don’t see it as myth, and for those who think it’s a total nonsense and myth. Let me first address it for them. In my next blog will speak more in detail.
Firstly the entire universe is made up of energy. There are electromagnetic waves in the universe and our thoughts too have electromagnetic waves. So when one has some kind of stress, it is certain to create wave length of thoughts and start to project the same, the receiver would be accepting many such waves knowingly or unknowingly. Negative energy is an unseen force that can make our lives harder to live. In layman’s terms, negative energy is also called “the evil eye’.
There are times when you experience a sudden wave of negative emotions or thoughts, where our body, mind and soul react to it on a daily basis and when this happens, we do not have an explanation for why we’re feeling low on energy. Well, this is due to the negative energy that is surrounding us. At times clouding our judgement and slowing down our thinking.
But how to know or learn if you are surrounded by negative energy? There are some of the simplest tricks with which you can learn if you are or have been surrounded by negative energy, which I have listed below. Continue reading to know more.

Here the explanation is about the point of having an evil eye and keeping a look out for some these symptoms.

It’s good to get Nazar/ drishti removed periodically. Especially after going for some big event or you know someone who has been complimenting you a lot. It’s all about getting your aura cleansed and sealing it so that you are good to go without any issues.
Many tools can be used for example like

In my next blog will continue more about evil eye and the beliefs and more.
It’s not about being appreciative or not it’s about knowing that when your intents are wrong things can go wrong.
Be mindful with what you say and wish as everything comes back to you.
Never sit with an intention of wishing bad for others. Everything we wish for comes back to us multi fold.
The choice of being oblivious towards evil eye could at times put you at a risk of going through a lot of chaos.
