Through our thoughts how we jeopardize our path!
I am sure that this sentence would have slowed you down and made you read it again. It is nothing but natural to always sit in a spot where we are in a strong belief that we would never mean harm to ourselves or others. Nevertheless through our own thought process many times we can slow down our path or create unpleasant situations and circumstances.
There may be myriad of reasons for this, at the same time due to various kind of emotions such as fear, anxiety you may be driven to do certain things or say certain things which was not meant from the heart. At times being upset, or thinking of certain things that happened in the past you may go about setting boundaries and stepping back.
It is natural to get upset or hurt, the point comes where we avoid to acknowledge this or even work on the situation or the issue. This leads to creating a whirlpool of similar patterns which could keep us in a spiral of uncertainties and illusions which could misguide us and put us in the wrong. This can happen both consciously as well as unconsciously.
There is nothing to prove or justify by saying ‘I did this cause of this’. At the same time it is always good to understand why you have done certain things, acknowledge your mistakes on the setbacks that has been created and look at how to move forward without any more delay. When you understand that in the journey of life we do go through certain ups and downs and it is very much part of us it becomes that much easier for us to accept and move forward.
Sitting in a place of denial and working from this aspect would only put you in a spot where you refuse to see reality and the actual facts that is being placed in front of you. You make it argumentative, and try to justify things which in reality is nothing but hiding from the facts. The disappointment and the pain which one goes through cuts off and put us in a state where we refuse to see or accept.
Holding onto the kind of thoughts and memories could put us in a pivot off emotions sending us through the downward spiral, we not only jeopardize ourselves but also people around us which include loved ones. Your loved ones may not be in a place or position where they could help you or explain as you refuse to see what’s being told to you. You only want to see and believe what you feel is right and what you want it to be right.
When you understand the simple logic it makes your life that much more easy and simple and also you would be able to work towards adjusting yourself and bringing things into reality and see how to move forward without any resistance. Can really someone work on these kind of situations and release the unwanted fear and also the points of denial out of your system?
Yes, this is possible all you need is to have the intent and spend time with introspection and slowly start taking baby steps towards helping yourself.
Some simple steps
- Step out of the situation and have a birds eye view of what’s happening.
- Take time to introspect into both aspects of the right and wrong.
- Listen to the other side of the story without holding any judgments or preconceived notion‘s.
- When you are in the wrong be ready to accept your mistakes or at times your failure it is absolutely okay.
- Make a list of the challenges you’re facing all the issues that is going on in your life and see your own thoughts regarding the same.
- At times you may need help from a counselor or a healer and it is absolutely okay to get that to help you get out of the situation.
- Be expressive with your thoughts and communicate them without any hindrances or fear.
- It’s good to journal your day, this would also help you in understanding what’s happening or why things are slowing down.
- The ups and downs of life our lessons that come your way. Accept them and move ahead without any hiccups.
Certain Beliefs that also jeopardize our life are:-
- Why does this keep happening to me?
- It isn’t my fault.
- I am always blamed for everything.
- It’s always the same old, same old.
- I feel totally powerless.
- I am not sure if I have it in me.
- I can’t keep getting hurt.
The list can go on, but here I want only to highlight the aspect of a simple nudge to understand when you move into the wrong.
It’s easy to sit in darkness and jeopardize everything around you.
