WHY DOES LIFE GET COMPLICATED?
Well, that is each one’s perception and understanding of their own life and beliefs about whether life is complicated or not. When one thinks and lives in the past it’s nothing but natural to make life complicated.
As I often state our thoughts play a vital role, now when we go down memory lane and keep on reliving old painful experiences and situations. There is no way one can actually start moving on in life, as deeply within them they are not ready.
Living in the past will only complicate and also make it difficult as we forget to be in the present. Everything and anything we will automatically move towards stating this happened and that happened and live in the past. Suffering, withering with pain, and reliving the same issues as patterns time and again.
Through this, we create major complications for ourselves and can never be prepared to work on it or even move forward with letting go of these experiences from our memory. Thus this is one important factor we hold onto in the choices we take in our life.
To move ahead on life one needs to know there are five simple steps and through that, we can easily bring about a simple life to be living in.
- To forgive
- Forget
- Accept
- Let go
- Have gratitude for the lessons.
The issue is we find it difficult and due to which we keep making vicious webs that emit toxins into the environment. This would be of no real consequence to us. Trying to live life and showcasing that all is well will only eat into our space and peace.
The amount of denial and pain one goes through to just try to make things happen or work. It would be easier if you start accepting and moving forward them holding onto life with stagnation.
We choose our paths with our own thoughts and beliefs keeping a strong will that this is what it is all about. When the path gets tough it will be really difficult for one to actually come to the point of healing and letting go. The aspect of fear and uncertainties takes a prominent seat and that will put us through irrational thoughts and behaviors.
Past experiences and behaviors make us do crazy things and this brings about major complications into everything that we have or don’t have in life. These complications are something that I am sure we all can do without. So instead of bringing unwanted complications into our life, we should work towards making life easy and simple.
This is can happen when we start letting go and not holding onto any grudge or pain through the regular practice of forgiveness we can start releasing at our own pace and time. Let me tell you the path of forgiveness is not easy though it’s a simple sentence it’s very difficult to acknowledge and state it.
At the same time when we work on our self-respect and confidence, we also understand the other persons issue and space. This will help us to actually say I am sorry or please forgive me easily. As the importance of the space and self will be highlighted to oneself.
One should be mindful and also aware when to actually set the boundaries and say sorry and back off. It’s more like pick your battles and putting a list of priorities of what to let go and what to hold onto. We are either in a race to please someone or we flip and move towards trying to prove the same person wrong.
The journey of living in the present can be put into action when we forgive, accept, let go of the past. Only when we are ready and not reliving the story of, this happened and that happened will be able to make our life simple and also live with the flow without creating complications for ourselves.
In the process of trying to bargain or negotiate we can at times be put into a position of compromise which we may not really be ready for. This could bring about a major regret and be the hot spot with many triggers. Deal with your own baggage after which see how would you like to deal with the situations.
One thing we need to know is our perceptions change along with our flow of thoughts and emotions. When you are fearful we may be over cautious and not trust anyone or anything. At the same time when our guards are dropped and we are in a state of happiness, we may actually let people into our spaces dropping our boundaries being totally unaware. This is where the complications arise, as the emotions and thoughts shift the boundaries may come up and by then it may not be possible to work things rightfully.
Let’s see some basic tips to keep life simple
- Introspect daily and practice gratitude too for all the lessons. Be happy with whatever the lessons were.
- Be mindful of your emotions and take an action when you are in a neutral zone.
- Don’t be hasty or jump to conclusions to be patient and try to get the other person’s reasoning to the table.
- Take the viewpoints from an outsider who is neutral and won’t be taking sides but giving the rightful opinion.
- Be frank and open with communication as it is much needed to have a simple and easy life.
- Express yourself, the pain or reason for being upset is much needed to heal a relationship.
- Keep a space that is your comfort space where you can sit and let go or just mull over things.
- At times it’s good to vent out the feelings through tears or a conversation as it’s no use keeping it bottled up.
- Life has its ways to take us through our space. The more we resist it the tougher is the journey.
When we understand this then it’s completely up to us whether we wish to have a simple life or complicate it with various knots and complications. The choice is completely ours as we also have to keep in mind the karmic issues, and that too can bring about certain complications for us which maybe we may resist learning from.
Our perceptions play a vital role for us to understand whether we choose a simple or complicated life.
The choice of happiness or love lies within us we cannot go searching for this elsewhere.
