WHY DOES ONE FEAR THE UNKNOWN?
It’s natural for one to have fear of the unknown, but how do we actually deal with it in life is more important.
Can we allow the fear to take over and rule our life or should we actually step ahead and take control of what we are doing and accept the facts of life. I understand one may think,
looks like more questions are being asked then answers being given but our answers lie within our questions.
Yes, Fear is an important emotion it helps one to be aware and to know if there is anything dangerous around. Fear is an emotion that we carry from the time we as infants, know and react sensing danger in the environment. Fear is programmed into the nervous system and works more like instincts within us. Sending out signals as and when danger is sensed. So In a way, it becomes like protection for us. At times we sense and lock up imprints of fear in the womb. Being totally unaware of the fact of why you have a particular reaction.
Fear is a basic instinct which is not only dominant in us as humans but also in animals this triggers the flight or fight stimuli in our system which could release a lot of stress hormones and chemicals sensing danger around our environment. Animals know how to reset the flight or fight stimuli whereas we humans are unaware on doing the same.
On the onset of the fear we have major reactions in our body, as a result, there is a release of stress hormones and chemicals. Our brain super alert, our heart rate goes up, and also our blood pressure we may get a little sweaty anxious, we get restless and our nerves are supersensitive.
We have many beliefs being reinstated into us as conditioning through fear. We are fearful of every act what we believe can be harmful to us or cause any kind of hurt or suffering. So in the process what we do, is being in that state of mind of fear, just speeds the entire process of having it on our door step even if you are not ready for it.
Fear is one topic I can write many blogs, as the core of many of our issues and problems start with fear. The fear can become the root cause for many many situations we get into.

Many a times when in a state of fear our mind freezes especially when we go into the flight or fight stimuli. Our thinking stops, we start perceiving everyone and everything as trouble for us. Through this perception life becomes really challenging for us and we start to believe everything that comes up or about a whole lot of challenges that is flowing towards us.
Ofcourse our conditioning also plays up and we are never ready to come out of the conditioning and we wallow or drown in that space and fear is right in the front taking a dominant seat in our life. Our fears brings out the worst behavior in us and some of it is actually beyond our control. We can get very close to actually messing things up or creating some kind of chaos.
As stated as we can actually learn to release this emotion and start to live a life and embrace the opportunities and blessings that come our way. The path can be pretty exciting and one can actually be ready to look in to the darkness in the eye when we embrace the fear.
Fear should be experienced and allow the awareness to come and know how it has to be dealt with and then released without trying to suppressing it or ignoring the same.
A simple question one can ask self
Naturally the answer will be yes, if it’s a NO please do sit with it. As there is a lot of suppressed emotions within you.
Fear is there in each and everyone of us, but making it become us is really not going get us anything or bring about a change in us.
F – Free
E – Evolve
A – Achieve
R – Resilience
Doesn’t this sound better then having something like
F – Fright
E – Emotional
A – Agitation
R – Restless
This really brings a person down right..,.
Being frightful would make one emotional and that would lead to agitation which would naturally lead to restlessness. There would be no solution as one would be so restless and agitated that they will be picking up fights with everyone around you.
Whereas when one takes the step to free themselves and evolve towards achieving goals and dreams this would help to keep them to be resilient in life.
Can you see the same alphabets in the world how much of a difference it gets? By being mindful we can strive towards these simple ways to actually start moving towards acknowledging our fears and also embracing the facts of life.
Fear is an emotion which teaches us how to become strong and independent allow the lessons to be incorporated.
Fear can be read as Free ourselves from the chains of beliefs. Evolve into achieving your dreams and be resilient in life.
